Pulso del Periodismo
is a Spanish-language magazine directed
at Latin America's news media and the
more than 100,000 executives and journalists
who work for them.
Pulso is produced by
the International Media Center of the School
of Journalism and Mass Communication at
Florida International University in Miami.
Founded in 1990 as a
quarterly journalism review, Pulso graduated
to the Internet, where it is more accessible
to Latin American media.
Pulso is periodically
updated, and places a special emphasis on
issues affecting freedom of expression in
Latin America.
The Latin American news
media are welcome to reprint or broadcast
any articles that appear on the site.
There is no charge,
but we ask that we be notified when
an article is used.
Pulso also welcomes
contributions from visitors to the page
and comments on articles.
